Standard Portable Toilet Rental
The everyday single-stall unit — the right choice for most job sites, work crews and casual outdoor events.
What It Is
A standard portable toilet is the single-stall unit most people picture: a self-contained restroom with a waste tank, ventilation, a lockable door and an occupancy indicator. It needs no water hookup and no power, which is what makes it practical almost anywhere you can get a truck within reach.
For the large majority of rentals — a framing crew, a weekend festival, a backyard party, a site where the plumbing is switched off — this is the unit that gets delivered. It is the least expensive option per stall and the fastest to place.
Why It Works
No hookups required
Self-contained waste tank with no water line, drain or power connection, so placement is limited only by truck access.
Fits tight access
A standard unit moves on a two-wheel dolly and passes through most gates and side yards, which matters on residential lots.
Serviced on a route
Units are pumped, rinsed, sanitized and restocked on a recurring schedule for the length of the rental.
Scales by the unit
Add stalls as headcount grows rather than paying for capacity you do not need at the start of a job.
Who It Is For
- Construction and trade crews needing on-site sanitation.
- Outdoor parties, reunions and graduations at private homes.
- Farmers markets, race days, and community events.
- Renovations where the indoor plumbing is offline.
- Agricultural, landscaping and utility crews working away from facilities.
What To Know
Placement needs firm, level ground
Units must sit level to drain and latch correctly. Soft ground, slopes and loose gravel cause doors to bind — a compacted or paved spot is best.
Leave room for the service truck
Servicing is done from the truck with a hose, so the unit needs to be reachable. Blocked access is the most common reason a scheduled service is missed.
Service frequency follows usage
Weekly service is the common baseline for a small crew. Heavier use, hot weather and public access all point toward more frequent servicing.
